Popular television personality and former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA Aamir Liaquat Hussain passed away at his residence in Karachi on Thursday. The Karachi-based politician and television expert was reportedly found unconscious at his home and taken to a hospital in the provincial capital.

Hussein began his career in the entertainment industry as a radio broadcaster on FM101. However, he gained notoriety with his popular Ramadan transmission on a local channel.
