Avatar 2 (also known as James Cameron’s Avatar 2) is an upcoming American epic science fiction film directed by James Cameron and produced by 20th Century Studios. This is Cameron’s second film in the Avatar franchise since Avatar (2009). Cameron is co-producing the film with John Landau, when Josh Friedman was first announced as Cameron’s co – writer. It was later announced that Cameron, Friedman, Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver and Shane Salerno were all involved in the writing process of the sequel, before the special scripts were attributed.
