In Pakistan’s most politically important province, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is hoping to maintain its narrow control. While the PTI movement aims to extract the conservatism from the ruling party.

PP-170 falls under the constituency NA-134, in which the direct uptake RNA of PML-N is the MNA.

This year, Zulkarnain was disqualified by the Election Commission of Pakistan for a vote against his party in the Punjab premiership election.
Competing candidates:
The Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz allocated the ticket to Amin Zul-Qarnayn.
While PTI sent Zuhair Abbas Khokhar.
Who can win?
Muhammad Amin Zulkarnain is the brother of Aoun Chaudhry, a former PTI member. Zulkarnain began his political career in 2005 from the platform of the Pakistan Muslim League in Qatar. He joined PTI in 2011 but split earlier this year.
In 2018, he defeated the PML-N candidate of PP-170 by more than 5,000 votes.
Zulkarnain is at a disadvantage so far, as the PML-N party does not support the leadership of the PML-N (PML-N) supporting a candidate who until recently was with the rival Progressive Workers’ Party. This is the reason why not many senior leaders of the PML-N are in the field campaigns in his favour.
Instead, his brother, Awn Choudary, is the one who goes door to door.
On the other hand, PTI’s Khokhar is a former member of MNA and Managing Director of Bait Al Mal. His campaign is more active and is led by Yasmine Rashid from PTI. Karamat Khokhar of PTI, who is his uncle, also campaigns on his behalf and has a great influence in the region.
About half of the constituency is urban, such as Wabda Town, Core Town and Valencia, while the other half is located in the suburbs of Lahore.
Electoral activity:
Imran Khan of the PTI party had a big political meeting in the constituency.
Circuit problems:
In underdeveloped areas, there are no proper gas and electric connections.
