Competing Candidates
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz dedicated the ticket to Muhammad Sabteen Raza. While PTI sent Yasir Khan Jatoi.
Who can win?
It is a largely one-way fight so far, with the PML-N candidate enjoying the support of the disaffected Afghan National Movement Party, Aamir Talal Gobang. The Jobang group enjoys great influence in the constituency.
While PTI’s Jatoi also has a strong voting bank, Gopang’s support alone for his opponent could easily help PML-N secure the constituency.
As this is an urban area in Muzaffargarh, the voters also vote on the basis of political parties. The PML-N and PTI both have a large voting bank in the PP-273.
