Suyash Pandey was born September 26, 1962, better known by his stage name Chunky Pandey, is an Indian film actor who works in Bollywood films. He has appeared in over 80 films over a career spanning more than three decades.
His most successful films in Hindi date from the period 1987-1994. After his Hindi films failed as a main hero since 1994, his Hindi film career faded away. He then worked in Bangladeshi cinema from 1995 and most of his films in Bangladesh were successful. He has been acting as a character actor since 2003 in Hindi films.
Pandey was born under the name Suyash Pandey on September 26, 1962 in Bombay. He worked as an instructor in a theater school in 1986. He was the senior of many beginning artists like Akshay Kumar.
Pandey married Bhavna Pandey in January 1998. They have two daughters, including actress Ananya Panday.
