Script and Direction of Drishyam 2 Movie:
Jeethu Joseph, the screenwriter and director has created a brilliant sequel, which lives up to the legacy of the box office hit Drishyam. The clever narration manages to throw audiences into a pool of emotions in the first half and provides a thrilling suspense experience in the second half. Drishyam 2 also follows in Drishyam’s footsteps with the mind-blowing twist of the climax, shattering all the preconceived notions we had about the movie. The first half, which mainly chronicles the current life of Georgekutty and his family, unfolds at a slow pace. We are presented with moments that ignite the nostalgia in the public that loved Drishyam. Although some of the scenes from the first half seemed unnecessary, they all made sense in the end. Things take a different turn with the start of the second half, and a lot of surprises await us. The last 30 minutes are indisputably the backbone of this Jeethu Joseph director. Despite the initial slow pacing that might not go well with some, Drishyam 2 is the perfect emotional thriller that deserves to be seen.
Cast Performance
Mohanlal performances once again set the screen on fire as Georgekutty. The superstar steals the show with the signature ‘Lal bhaavangal’ that shows off his immense flexibility and effortlessness from him as an actor. Mohanlal once again reminds us why he is considered one of the best actors in the country with his performance in Drishyam 2. Meena, for her part, proves that she is one of Mohanlal’s best on-screen couples, with her chemical magic with him. full actor. The actress also scores well in emotional sequences. Murali Gopy amazes in the movie with his subtle yet powerful performance as the aggressive and low-key police officer. Satheesh Kurup, the cinematographer has done an excellent job of creating a visually compelling backdrop for the emotional thriller. Editor VS Vinayak scores well with neat and accurate editing. Anil Johnson, the musician did well with the music, especially with the excellent background score that fits perfectly with the mood of the film.
