Jeni Jerome is an Indian pilot from Kochuthura, Trivandrum. She becomes the first woman commercial pilot to flew Sharjah to Trivandrum. Her first ride was on May 22, 2021. It was her maiden flight from the coastal region of the state as a co-pilot for the Air-Arabia G9 449 flight. Initially, she was scheduled to fly to Armenia, but with a change in the pilot she was rescheduled to Kerala.
For this novelty role, she received an abundance of wishes from the chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan followed by top influential personalities like Shashi Tharoor, K Surendran. Social media platforms have praised her maiden role and congratulatory posts for this young woman pilot.
