Premise:
- Bhaijaan, an honest man, decides to mend his ways for his Telugu-based girlfriend Bhagya
- Bhagya’s family is in trouble due to their past rival with “Rowdy” Anna
- Bhaijaan sets out to protect them without anyone’s knowledge, using violence to settle disputes

- Director Farhad Samji initially sought to remake the 2014 Tamil film Veeram as Bachchhan Paandey with Akshay Kumar
- Later changed the script to the remake of another Tamil film Jigarthanda
- Tweaked veeram’s story and pitched it to Salman Khan who accepted the film
- Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment gave the rights to Khan, who then decided to make the film under his banner Salman Khan Films
- Announced on 10 January 2020 with the title Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, later renamed to Bhaijaan, and finally to Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan
