Lucifer is an American fantasy police procedural comedy-drama television series developed by Tom Kapinos that premiered on Fox on January 25, 2016.
It features a character created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth, and Mike Dringenberg taken from the comic book series The Sandman, which later became the protagonist of the spin-off comic book series Lucifer written by Mike Carey, both published by DC Comics’ Vertigo imprint. In May 2018, Fox canceled the series after three seasons, and it was announced in June 2018 that Netflix had picked the series up.

Lucifer Season 6 Launch Details
The beloved Netflix series is set to wrap up with a sixth and final season. Lucifer season 5 B is scheduled to hit Netflix in late May. Once it’s over, the creators will release more details on the final season, Lucifer Season 6. Lucifer season 6 will be released in late 2021. The confirmed release date is not yet known.

Lucifer’s season 6 renewal is a great story in itself. After Lucifer Season 5 B’s statement, fans were happy and disappointed at the same time. The disappointment of the fans is that initially Lucifer Season 5 B would be the last season, not until the campaigns, and the fans submitted more than 100,000 requests asking for the sixth season.
