Launch Event
Apple, at its ‘Unleashed’ event on Monday, released new MacBook Pro models that are based on the company’s new silicon called the all-new M1 Pro and M1 Max. The long-awaited MacBook Pro series offers 14- and 16-inch display options and is the biggest update to the line in five years since the existing design was introduced in October 2016.
Speed-up Performance
Apple’s new silicon that powers the MacBook Pro (2021) The series is claimed to offer up to 3.7 times faster performance than Intel’s Core i7 available in the existing 13-inch MacBook Pro. The new M1 Pro and M1 Max come as updates to the M1 chip that the Cupertino company introduced last year.

The 14-inch Apple MacBook Pro (2021) price starts at Rs. 1.94,900. It is also available for education at Rs. 1.75.410. The 16-inch Apple MacBook Pro (2021) model, on the other hand, starts at Rs. 2,39,900 for regular customers and Rs. 2,15,910 for education. In the US, the 14-inch Apple MacBook Pro (2021) starts at $ 1,999 (roughly Rs. 1,50,400), while the 16-inch version is priced at $ 2,499 (roughly Rs. 1,88,100).
Sale Starting Date
The new MacBook Pro models will be available to order starting Monday through Apple India’s online store and will go on sale starting Tuesday, October 26. Customers will also have on-demand configuration options available through Apple’s site.

Touch Trackpad
MacBook Pro (2021) models also come with a magic keyboard that replaces the previous touch bar with physical function keys and a wider escape key. You’ll also get the Force Touch trackpad.
Connectivity Options
Connectivity options on the new MacBook Pro include Bluetooth v5.0 and Wi-Fi 6. Users can also connect up to three Pro Display XDRs and a 4K TV simultaneously on the M1 Max-based MacBook Pro. The M1 Pro chip, on the other hand, supports up to two Pro Display XDRs at a time.
Improvement in Sound System
The new MacBook Pro models also include a six-speaker sound system that has two tweeters and four force-canceling woofers. There’s also Dolby Atmos and spatial audio support for an immersive sound experience on the go.
