Bollywood heartthrob Sidharth Malhotra treated fans to him with the announcement of his new project, titled “Mission Majnu“. Actress from the south, Rashmika Mandanna to mark her Bollywood debut with this film. The plot of the film revolves around the life of a RAW agent.
“Mission Majnu” is directed by Shantanu Bagchi and is co-produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Amar Butala and Garima Mehta. When announcing the project, Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna shared the first poster for the film on Instagram. The story of the film takes place in the 1970s and is “inspired by true events.” It would reportedly follow the story of “India’s deadliest covert operation conducted by its intelligence agency behind enemy lines”, that is, in Pakistan. The all-star cast would set the shootings in motion starting in February next year.
