Samsung Galaxy S22 Series Renders
The updated official-looking renders of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra have been made by an insider. The new renders show a design language quite similar to previous renders shared by insider Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks). The only difference the new renders show is an updated layout for the camera module, which is still in the upper left corner of the rear panel. Samsung’s next non-foldable flagship will be part of the Galaxy S22 series comprising the vanilla Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 +, and Galaxy S22 Ultra models.
The new and updated renders of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra were shared by insider Parvez Khan (aka Technizo Concept), in collaboration with LetsGoDigital. The report mentions that the next Samsung smartphone will not have a P-shaped camera module, as seen in the renders shared by Hemmerstoffer last month. Instead, the renders show that the cameras on the Galaxy S22 Ultra will be positioned in the same position, but will be housed on two separate camera islands.
The new renders of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra also show a burgundy red color option. Tipster Ice Universe tweeted earlier this week that the next Galaxy smartphone will see a return of the Burgundy Red color option. Even the S Pen shown in the renders incorporates the new color option for the non-folding flagship smartphone that will soon be released from Samsung. The post notes that this burgundy red option is the same as found on the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S9 smartphones. Also, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is said to be offered in black and white color options.
Galaxy S22 Ultra Specifications
The post also mentions that the unique P-shape for the camera module was derived from fictitious models that Samsung provided to case makers to test new cases for the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Furthermore, the report also mentions that the Galaxy S22 Ultra will get a 108-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 12-megapixel periscope lens with 10x optical zoom. . The latter two sensors are said to be different from the 10-megapixel sensors on the Galaxy S21 Ultra. The post also mentions that all four lenses will come equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).
In its report, the post says that the Galaxy S22 Ultra will get a 6.8-inch curved QHD + (1,440×3,200 pixels) AMOLED display with an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz.
