The countdown to PUBG Mobile 1.6 update releases ends in the next few hours, and players want to know all about the new patch and what is being planned for Season 21 Royale Pass M3.

A new message from Tencent suggests that the release of the PUBG Mobile 1.6 update has started and is likely to reach gamers in the UK earlier than in places like India.

The development team hasn’t shared any news on today’s patch size, but they generally range from 300MB to 2GB, depending on whether you’re using Android or iOS.

Players are eager to download and install the latest PUBG Mobile update, with version 1.6 set to offer a new game mode and many new social features. Less is known about whether there will be new vehicles to ride and weapons to wield, but we do know that several older game modes will make a return.

WHAT TIME DOES THE PUBG MOBILE 1.6 UPDATE LEAVE?

Developers Tencent has confirmed that the PUBG Mobile update 1.6 release date has been set for Tuesday, September 14.

And while we haven’t been given an exact schedule to follow, it appears that PUBG Mobile’s update time has been set between midnight and 2 a.m. BST.

It will be up to Tencent to announce exactly when the new patch is available to install on Android and iOS devices, so there could be a longer wait if necessary.

The Battlegrounds version of PUBG that is available to play in India is also expected to update around the same time, although fans will have to wait for more information to be shared.

Tencent’s most recent PUBG 1.6 message reads: “To give everyone a better gaming experience, PUBG MOBILE will release updates starting September 14th.

“Upgrade to the newest version between September 14-19 (UTC 0) to get: 2,888 BP, 100 AG, and the Justice Defender Backpack (3d) × 1.”

It should be noted that Tencent delivers its patches using a regional deployment system, which means that some players will have to wait longer than others.

PUBG Mobile Season 21, or its equivalent, will also launch this week, but it will take a bit longer to arrive.

Tencent has announced that the Royale Pass M3 will be available on September 17, although more information is expected before the new event begins.
