Rituparna Sengupta is a well-known Indian actor and producer for his work in Bengali and Hindi cinema. Early life
Rituparna was interested in art from an early age and studied art, dance, song and crafts at an art school called Chitaranche. She attended Carmel High School and later graduated with a degree in History from Lady Braborn University. He holds a Master’s degree from Calcutta University. He started studying modern history to some extent, but had to stop studying to focus on his acting career.

Controversy
On July 19, 2019, Sengupta was cross-examined by ED executives for approximately Rs 700 million received from Rose Valley Group, led by Gautama Kundu.
In the controversial blog “Let’s Expose Face It” in 2020, Srileka Mitra said that Sengupta wants to lead with Tolly Lights, whose protagonist is Mitra. Mitra said that Sengputa called the film director Arjun Chakraborti and demanded that he impose himself on Mitra’s behalf.

Personal life
She married her childhood friend Sanjay Chakrabarti, Founder and CEO of MobiApps in Munshigongji on December 13, 1999. The couple has a son named Ankan and a daughter named Rishona Nia.
Sengputa has an obedient attitude towards Devasli Roy, but his attitude towards Satabudi Roy is shaken. The relationship between the two deteriorated during the filming of Prashan Tananda Larpan Bibi (1994), when Sengputa literally cried after being accused of being late for the filming location. Roy Sengputa played the female leader of director Om Shant (2012).
