Boba Fett’s book Season 1 Episode 3 arrives on Disney+ next week, and after Episode 2 we’re much more curious about the show’s ambition.

The main problem with the series premiere is that it’s a victim of its own hype in so many ways. Of The Mandalorian you could argue there was a bit more of a blank slate. That’s not so much the case here with this show. You already have a lot of established knowledge from the movies and various other tentacles of the bigger ones Star Wars world, and of course that meant even higher expectations.
Episode 2 did a great job of getting Boba Fett the character to venture into different places – and included some surprises too! Take, for example, Black Krrsantan – a Wookie best known from the comic book world. Can we see more of that character coming? Does that mean a character like Doctor Aphra could be in the cards to appear?
Disney+ doesn’t tend to release a lot of details for upcoming episodes of their shows, so don’t be so shocked that they’re doing the same for Boba Fett’s book. Our feeling here is usually that this story will be more of a slow build than the Mandalorian, does its best to keep you guessing every step of the way. The more they are able to do this, the better the end result will be. Of course we also want more of the Mandalorian, but it will take a lot of patience to get to the point where we see it again.
