Who is Tiger Nageswara Rao?

Tiger Nageswara Rao is based on the life of the notorious thief Nageswara Rao, who managed to evade the authorities on several occasions in the 1970s, earning him the moniker of ‘Tiger.’ He was shot dead by the police in 1987.

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is already part of three projects and recently announced his 70th film with Sudheer Varma. Today the 71st film by Ravi Teja is officially confirmed. He will join director Vamsee for the periodical film based on the life of the famous thief Tiger Nageswara Rao. The story takes place in the 70’s in Stuvartpuram.

The interesting thing is that the film that will be financed by Abhishek Agarwal under Abhishek Agarwal Arts will be made as a large-scale Pan India project in the Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages. Titled Tiger Nageswara Rao, this is in fact Ravi Teja’s first Pan India project.

The title poster shows Ravi Teja’s beast mode, although his face in his back pose is not visible. Only the markings on his legs and feet are visible and the poster is enormously intriguing. We can also see a steam train on the poster.

It is the first role of its kind for Ravi Teja, who will be seen in a new look to play the title role. R Madhie is the cinematographer and GV Prakash Kumar is the film’s musical director.
