Uncharted is an upcoming American action-adventure film directed by Ruben Fleischer and scripted by Rafe Lee Judkins, Art Mark and Matt Holloway. Uncharted is scheduled to release Sony Pictures on February 11, 2022 in the United Kingdom and later on February 18 in the United States on Imax, Dolby Cinema, and 4DX. The film was originally slated to release on June 10, 2016, but was delayed until June 30, 2017. Following the departure of Travis Knight, the film was later delayed until December 18, 2020 and then until March 5, 2021. It was delayed until October 8, 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The film was later moved to July 16, 2021, before which it was moved to February 11, 2022 and then to next week. It was later announced that the film would first release on February 11 in the United Kingdom.

In April 2021, Sony signed an agreement with Netflix and the Walt Disney Company for the streaming rights of FilmSlate from 2022 to 2026, including movie theaters and home media windows, including Uncharted.
Filming Details
Principal photography was launched on March 16, 2020 at the Babelsburg studio near Berlin, Germany. Filming was halted that day due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Filming is expected to resume on July 15, 2020, however, Sony Pictures has clarified that although production has not yet resumed, they are preparing to begin production soon. Shooting officially resumed on July 20, 2020 at the Babelsburg studio, implementing the right social distances and mask requirements on and off the set. On August 5, 2020, Banderas temporarily withdrew from production due to Covid-19 positives.
On August 26, 2020, Banderas recovered from COVID-19 and soon returned to construction. On September 16, 2020, filming was moved to Berlin and the set photos were released online. Production shot in early October 2020 in Alicante and Valencia, Spain including the coastal city of Sebia. On October 23, 2020, Holland completed the filming of his scenes, and production ended on October 29 in Barcelona. In July 2021, the film was reshooting in Madrid.
