Xbox Mini Fridge, in the style of X series consoles, sells out immediately after launch

Like the Series X consoles, buying a next-gen Xbox is still not easy.

Xbox Min-Fridge Sold Out on Launch

Those who were looking for the Xbox Series X-style mini fridge were disappointed Thursday when Microsoft’s latest offering sold out immediately after launch. The $ 99 product (roughly Rs. 7,400), once just a viral internet meme, is now a real thing. The refrigerator can hold up to a dozen cans of your favorite beverage.

Orders were opened through retailers around the world on Wednesday but sold out quickly. People who were able to purchase the mini-fridge shared their excitement online.

Three Time Expensive than Original Price

High demand and low supply created space for resellers who took advantage of the opportunity. eBay was filled with listings for the X Series mini-fridge starting at $ 300 (roughly Rs. 22,449), three times the original cost.

Stock Available in 2022

Xbox chief marketing officer Aaron Greenberg said the product is not a limited edition release and that more stock will be available in early 2022, Gaming Industry 24/7 reported.

Microsoft Suggestion about Xbox

Although the Xbox Series X is a best-selling game console that’s hard to come by, it’s hard to imagine the same level of interest in your mini-fridge avatar, too. The mini-fridge is expected to start showing up in stores again in December, Microsoft said.

Xbox Mini-Fridge Specifications

Xbox Mini Fridge is a 6-foot, 400-pound 1: 1 scale replica of the popular X Series console. It has LED lights and design elements intended to resemble the console itself. The front has some shelves for extras and snacks and includes a USB port for charging devices. It has a 10L capacity cooler. The company said it is “working to bring the Xbox Mini Cooler to as many fans as possible and will continue to expand regional availability in 2022.”
