Yami Gautam Summoned By ED In Alleged Foreign Exchange Case

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned Yami Gautam in the alleged foreign exchange violation case.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has subpoenaed Yami Gautam, who recently married Aditya Dhar in connection with alleged wrongdoing under FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act). The actress has been asked to appear before them next week to record her statement on the case.

ANI news agency tweeted: “Mumbai: Enforcement Directorate (ED) summons actor Yami Gautam, asking him to appear before them next week to record his statement regarding alleged wrongdoing under FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act)” .

Officials reportedly said the ‘Bala’ actress received 1.5 million rupees into her private bank account, which she did not disclose and was asked to join the investigation on July 7. The case is being investigated by Zone 2 of ED. This is the second time the agency has called her in connection with her investigation.

In the workplace, Yami Gautam last appeared in the Netflix movie “Ginny Weds Sunny,” starring Vikrant Massey. She will then be seen in the horror comedy, “Bhoot Police,” which also stars Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, and Jacqueline Fernandez. She also has a social comedy movie, “Dasvi,” and it stars Abhishek Bachchan, led by Nimrat Kaur.
